Need Golf Fitness To Be A Good Golfer?
Power Vegetables In A Drink |
|
As I see it, this confusion probably centers around which training modalities and exercises should golfers include in their golf fitness training and whether the physical workouts are similar to those usually found in health clubs and fitness gyms. That is why many are clueless as to whether they should include weight training such as using dumbbells and barbells into their golf fitness exercise program.
You see, the main objective of a golf fitness program is to improve your game by the physical development of the muscles in your body. In order for you to achieve this objective, the workouts and exercises must be designed to develop the body for the maximum effectiveness of the golf swing.
A good golf swing is a total body athletic movement as the entire body is used to swing the golf club, not just the movements of the arms. This is called the integrated total body athletic action. This is the reason why a good golf fitness program must incorporate exercises for the entire human body.
For example, the golf swing incorporates a rotational movement of the core which include your abs, lower back, hips, and the obliques muscles. Therefore to have a good golf swing, then it is very obvious that these muscles must be worked at and strengthened in an integrated golf specific exercise such as the Physio Ball Russian Twist where all the above mentioned muscles are being worked out in an arc pattern.
This form of exercise is very much different from the usual core exercises such as the sit ups and crunches. The idea here is to integrate the muscles of the body in its totality movements instead of just isolating each muscle such as in a dumbbell curl.
Next, the exercises and workouts for golf fitness training should also include anatomical positions, movement patterns and also increasing strength for good and powerful golf swings. What this means is that you should train with exercises that move your body through the ranges of motion of the golf swing to increase mobilty, flexibility, power and strength.
Since the golf swing is executed in a standing upright position, then naturally the physio-ball squat exercise will be far superior than say, the tricep extension. This is because the physio-ball squat places your body in a position similar to a position in which the golf swing is being executed whereas the tricep extension exercise only isolates your triceps. So the tricep extension exercise does not train the body in an integrated movement and also not in a position somewhat similar to the golf swing as it is done in a stationary position.
So if you want to incorporate weight training into your golf fitness training program, then you must keep to the instructions of integration and cross-specific training to improve your health and your golf game.
Therefore golf fitness training is definitely beneficial to improving your golf games when you train with the correct exercises for maximum effectiveness for your golf swings.

Choosing Between Going To The Health Club, And Working Out At Home
Power Vegetables In A Drink |
|
As you probably know, exercising at home has many benefits over going to a gym. The cost saving factor over the long run is probably the most appealing. Another thing to consider, albeit a much smaller one is the gas you will save, by not having to travel to the gym. This will also reduce your carbon footprint, every little bit helps.
Gym subscription fees can be extremely expensive, and most gyms include facilities that youll never use, such as Tennis Courts, and baby care services. If you do need them, then great, but if you dont, you are paying for something that you arent using. Training at home also saves you from having to worry about buying the latest fitness fads, as there isn't anyone but you.
Keep in mind that training at home does need a bit of financial commitment. Gym equipment is by no means
inexpensive, and buying enough equipment can cost a lot of money. You should only expect to see return on your investment after some time.
Alongside with the financial return, exercising at your residence may also help those who don't like to work out in public. If you are conscious about how you look in gym clothes, it is very comforting to know that the only person who has to be with you when you exercise at home is you. Also, when you exercise at home, you don't need to fret about time at all.
Those of you who are encouraged by being with other people you know or come to know while working out away from home, a gym may be a better idea than working out at home. Youll also have access to a much wider variety of equipment at the gym, than youll have at home.
If you need other services than just weights and equipment, the gym may have just what you require. If you plan to participate in a triathlon, you'll find the pool at the gym to be just what you need to prepare yourself. Jogging is also a great cardio exercise for your body.
Gyms will also offer you programs that you may find very motivating. If you attend class on a regular basis, you may be committed enough to continue so you don't have to defend yourself when asked where you've been or what you have been doing. You can also meet new people in class, or just help others along if you choose.
All in all, making the choice of exercising at home or at the gym is a decision you should make based on your goals and personal preference. The most crucial decision you'll need to make is to determine what type of environment you want to be in and how you want to accomplish the fitness goals in your life.
Once you have given it some thought and weighed out the pros and cons, you'll have no problem making the choice. Always keep in mind that you can always change your mind.

Fitness Health Clubs
Power Vegetables In A Drink |
|
One thing Americans seem to forget about the fitness health clubs we are members of or we are considering to join is that they are businesses as just like any others: they have to make a profit from you. I'm not writing this article to dismiss fitness health clubs; in fact, I'm encouraging you to get into one if you are stuck in a weight loss rut. All I'm trying to ensure you understand is that weight loss does not have to cost you so much in terms of money.
Losing weight drastically using any other means is dangerous. Like crack addicts you will suffer from withdrawal symptoms and you will be more likely to jump right back into bad eating habits and regain the weight. In an effort to get away from the "I want it here and now" American attitude, these fitness health clubs have ensured that its members have reached their weight loss or gain goals safely over a long period of time, rather than use the shortcuts. So, don't expect to join one of these fitness health clubs and lose weight immediately. Don't look at the glossy advertisements that the fitness health clubs have or the equipments that they have. Look at the services they offer. If they offer the basic services and have decent equipment, you have more than enough to ensure you have lost the weight.
First of all make sure the fitness health club is in a location that you can access easily. Traveling to a far gym may demoralize you in the end. From the beginning of your exercise routine, you only need fifteen minutes to half an hour of exercises daily to meet your long term weight loss goals. Upon joining the club you can sign an annual membership contract or a monthly contract. I advise that you think of the latter more than the former since you might want to quit before the end of the year. There are some packages that you might be attracted to before you start your membership, I advise that you settle in first and figure out if you need them before you go for them.
Fitness health clubs should have qualified instructors who will make sure you get the best service. More than three quarters of your weight loss effort will come from you and not the gym instructor. If you try and incorporate some of these exercise routines in your daily schedules so that you don't have to make the trip to the gym every single day, you will save time and lots of money. Invest in some few weights or a skip rope and make sure you do some exercises at home. Once you have a diet plan, you can follow up with the dietician in your gym once a week. If she has an email, the better; you can call her up and ask for further instruction. There is so much the fitness health clubs can do for you in your effort to lose weight and you don't need to break your finances in order to do that.

Power Vegetables In A Drink |

Today I have a new resource to tell you about that will stop you
from making the common start-up mistake that KILLS many new
websites...
It's called the "Ebusiness Start-Up Handbook," and it's a
must-read for anyone who wants to build a profitable long-term
ebusiness on a solid foundation.
Download it, and you'll avoid wasting massive amounts of time and
money getting your new business started.
What I like most about this Handbook is that it uses simple
language and lots of examples and graphics to clearly explain the
step-by-step process you need to follow to find a lucrative
online market with minimal competition.
Start your website *without* doing this critical groundwork first,
and prepare for a long and costly battle...
You'll struggle to attract visitors, to get ranked in the search
engines, and to convert the few visitors you do get into buyers.
Worse, you could find yourself going head to head with the
Internet's toughest -- and most well-funded -- competitors, like
Amazon.com and eBay.
The "Ebusiness Start-Up Handbook" was produced by the experts at
the Internet Marketing Center, who have generated over $100
million in sales online, so you know you can trust their advice.
I highly recommend you take the first step toward financial
independence by downloading this Handbook right away. You'll be

Health Club Marketing and What You Must Know
Power Vegetables In A Drink |
|
You'll be able to jumpstart your own health club marketing efforts and increase membership sales with the following simple, but essential strategies.
Brainstorming
Never become complacent when it comes to marketing your health club, even if business is going swimmingly as it's essential to stay at the top of the market when it comes to matters of the competition and what they're doing to also remain up to date. Set aside some time each month specifically for brainstorming, asking staff members to participate and offer incentives for the best ideas.
The All Important Business Plan
No business venture, regardless of its nature, should ever be without a concrete business plan set in place. Even if you've been in business for many years and managed to get it off the ground and running without one, it's never too late to write yours and start implementing what you've discovered you should have been doing all along.
Without a plan when it comes to health club marketing, it's almost impossible to attract new clients and also keep existing ones happy.
Partnering Up
Unless you're close enough to be rivals and are fighting for the same clients, consider partnering up with other health clubs or fitness spas, some of which may not offer the same services or equipment. Find a partner in your area that you can trust with the same business goals as you and share marketing strategies, offer package deals to members with discounts on dual memberships, and trade and share leads and referrals.
Putting It In Writing
Despite the proliferation of electronic communication, the written word remains an ever powerful medium that should not be overlooked when it comes to health club marketing. Brand your health club's name and make it a part of the local people's vernacular by advertising in newspapers, free local publications, magazines, and of course, by having a web site.
On your health club's web site, include links and articles with helpful and factual information related to fitness as well as your staff's qualifications, information about your equipment and services, as well as location and contact details, and the hours of operation. Send out newsletters to existing clients on a periodic basis via regular mail, and offer the chance to receive e-newsletters to prospective members visiting the web site, which should also have a separate place to list special announcements about any upcoming discounts and promotions.
Also, although it's certainly true that some establishments are reluctant to advertise unless there's no initial cost involved either by choice or necessity, it's undeniably a fact that in some cases, you simply have to spend money to make money, whether it's through marketing or outsourcing to give yourself more time to devote to expanding the business.
Health club marketing doesn't have to cost an arm and a leg, provided your efforts are ongoing so that new clients will always be turning into paid members, offsetting the marketing costs.
By taking a calculated risk and monitoring your health club marketing efforts in terms of cost per sale, you'll soon be able to see at a glance what works, and what doesn't instead of wasting advertising or marketing dollars that would be better spent elsewhere.
